Is this how an ‘iTV” might work?

The folks at CouponCodes4u.com, a U.S. coupon code website, conducted a study to explore what the rumored Apple HDTV (the “iTV”) might look like. After all, “Apple TV” is currently one of the most searched for trends on the technology front.

iTVInterfaceThe study says the iTV would probably offer a touch-based Apple TV remote that uses Siri. You just tell the remote what you’d like to watch and it gives you what you want.

The iTV would come with an Apple TV iPhone app. If you don’t want to use the physical remote, you can just use your phone. It does the same things as your remote, just on your iPhone.

CouponCodes4u.com says Siri will be the main user interface of the iTV. Rather than seeing a complicated list of channels, Apple’s voice-activated “personal assistant” will ask what you’d like to watch, and the remote control is asking the same thing. They work in unison together.

On the iTV, you’ll use gesture-based controls to select a show or video based off Siri’s results. These results are personalized and only show things that you can watch immediately.
